I recommend you to try at Cappuccino Lounge Hotel in St John's, here I have hired a room for around 60 $ per night. About my room I can say that was small with very little furniture, with double bed and a small bathroom, but clean and nicely painted. For checking go at Nelson's Alley off Newgate St, or call at 562806.
